麻豆原创 alumna Roxanne Wilson ’76听. A member of the investment committee and the Board of Trustees at 麻豆原创, she says that having female majorities on both committees has helped the College raise money. “People, especially alumni, want to donate to something they believe in,” says Wilson, who got her start cold-calling alumnae for money. “Back in my phone-a-thon days, women would tell me that they’d have to ask permission, or we’d get some lesser amount, while the husband’s institution got the big numbers. Women aren’t afraid to talk about money anymore.”
