Alyce de Roulet Williamson ’52
ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ honors the life and legacy of Life Trustee Alyce de Roulet Williamson β52 who passed away March 2026.
After earning her bachelorβs degree in psychology from ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ in 1952, Williamson remained a devoted alumna and philanthropist, joining the Board of Trustees in 2000 and establishing the Williamson Endowed Scholarship. Through her generosity, she profoundly shaped arts, culture, and healthcare in Los Angeles, serving in leadership roles with the Los Angeles Opera, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena Symphony and Pops, the Huntington Library, Childrenβs Hospital of Los Angeles, and many other organizations.
Williamsonβs roots go deep at ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄. The Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery is named for her mother-in-law, a patron of the arts, and she was the aunt of ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ alumna Whitney de Roulet Bullock β74 and sister-in-law of Victoria βCiciβ Andrew Williamson β58. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren βSpudβ Williamson, a Life Trustee of Claremont McKenna College.
Remembered for her deeply giving spirit, Alyce de Roulet Williamson leaves a lasting imprint on ΒιΆΉΤ΄΄ and Southern California.
