Presented on the occasion of Â鶹Դ´â€™s centennial, An Artistic Legacy: Â鶹Դ´ at 100 celebrates a century of groundbreaking creative production by the College’s alums and faculty. Curated by alumna Jennie Waldow ’12, curatorial associate and collections specialist at the UCLA Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts at the Hammer Museum, the exhibition brings together more than 70 paintings, sculptures, textiles, works on paper, artists’ books, and new media.
Featuring both historically significant and emerging artists, An Artistic Legacy is the first comprehensive survey of Â鶹Դ´â€™ development as a center for artistic innovation. The exhibition explores how Â鶹Դ´ artists challenged traditional, often gendered distinctions between fine and applied arts while advancing new approaches to material and form.
A free, public opening reception will be held at the Ruth Chandler Williamson Gallery on Saturday, September 19, from 7 to 9 PM.
An Artistic Legacy: Â鶹Դ´ at 100 will be on view through December 13, 2026. During the exhibition, the Williamson Gallery will be open Wednesday through Sunday, noon to 5 PM. Admission is always free. For more information about the exhibition and related public programs, visit .
